Position Purpose/Summary: Under the limited direction of the Landscape Construction Manager, supervises the work of personnel and oversees hardscape projects.

Qualifications:

• Valid WI driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to drive company vehicles
• High school graduate or GED, 2 years of supervisory experience
• Ability to read architectural plans
• Ability and knowledge of properly laying out and building hardscape projects- Paving, Decking, Retainage Walls, etc.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Strong ability to lead, train, and support crew members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in computer design software and Microsoft Office products for bid spreadsheets, proposals, etc.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be customer service oriented
• Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and assign hardscape crews
• Onsite supervision hardscape crews
• Responsible for safety, equipment, and materials needed for daily projects
• Maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the field
• Makes recommendations on personnel matters
• Makes recommendations for the repair or replacement of equipment and vehicles
• Work closely with the Landscape Construction Manager
• Ensure customer’s expectations are being met

Physical Requirement and Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in an outside setting subject to weather conditions
• Will require heavy lifting
• Competitive Salary – dependent upon experience
• This position is a full-time, year-round job. The successful candidate will assist with snow removal operations during the winter months.

• Must have the ability and desire to learn new skills
